The characters of Lewis Carroll’s classic story “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” come to life at the Canmore Recreation Centre, Alex Kaleta arena on Sunday, March 11, 6:30pm through the charm and energy of the figure skaters of the Canmore Skating Club. This theatre-on-ice production brings together professional lighting, colourful costumes and music from many genres to tell Alice’s story. Advance tickets will be available at the Rocky Mountain Soap Company in Canmore and Banff. General admission is $10; children 5 years of age and younger free.

Oh My Darling

"Oh My Darling" is more than just a 19th century American folk ballad. It's also an all-girl folk pop quartet from Winnipeg, and this Oh My Darling is coming to Canmore to play at the Drake Inn.
The group consists of Allison de Groot (banjo), Rosalyn Dennett (fiddle), Vanessa Kuzina (vocals, guitar) and Marie-Josee Dandeneau (upright bass).

Earth Hour celebration

Good Earth cafe
Good Earth Cafe will host an event to celebrate Earth Hour starting at 8:00 pm. The lights will be turned off and candels will be lit from 8:30pm-9:30pm in support of Earth Hour.
Live music will be played by Ken Chambers. Proceeds from sales during Earth Hour will be donated to The Nature Conservancy Canada (NCC). NCC is the nation's leading private land conservation organization, working to protect our natural areas and the plants and animals they sustain.
